Welcome to the fourth post in my Christmas Home Tour! Today, I am sharing my Christmas Trees, which I redesign every year. Christmas Home Tour – Rustic Glam Christmas Tree

This first tree was designed around my Winter Glam Dining Room Table decor and the colors and materials I used for my table setting. To coordinate this tree with the rest of the room, I used faux feathers, other greenery, pine cones, and other similarly toned ornaments. The copper, gold and brown tones really add a lot of warmth to the tree.

I am a firm believer in tying in your gift wrapping with your trees. For this tree, I used soft metallic papers and wrapping components. The metallic finishes certainly help add a bit of “glam”.

Christmas Home Tour – Winter White Christmas Tree

The design of the second tree focuses on winter…all things snowy white! My goal was to include plenty of silver and white, plus a bit of nature.

In other years, I have done up to 7 trees in a variety of sizes and themes…a pretty overwhelming task! Having just started this blog when it was about time to start putting up our Christmas trees, I didn’t have quite the bandwidth I have had in year’s past. Maybe next year!

Traditional Red and Green Christmas Tree

Finally, the third tree I am sharing was inspired by daughter’s wishes to have a “traditional tree” as opposed to a “designer tree”. She wanted reds, greens, and other bright colors. Essentially, it was to be our “family tree” featuring our cherished ornaments. This includes the kid’s homemade ornaments and other special pieces we have collected through the years. Super festive!!

Since we spend a lot of our family time in our basement, this is where I decided to build this “family tree”. We will open our presents Christmas morning down here, so I really enjoyed making this area particularly festive.

Finally, here are a few images of my living room decor. I actually didn’t have room for a full-size Christmas tree in this area. With that being said, I created these decorations to continue the rustic, winter theme in this room. Using real Christmas greenery (from my own trees) in these vignettes certainly warmed up the area and provided a nice foundation for adding in colorful ornaments. If you have small areas, this is a great way to decorate without a full-size tree.
