Starting this blog only a couple of months ago, it seems crazy to be able to talk about “top posts”. However, I have been so pleased with the responses and support so far making this journey so rewarding! These last few months have been filled with so many opportunities for entertaining and decorating for the “season” and I have loved sharing what has been going on around here. Now, that we are in a new year, I will be switching gears a bit to take on more home decor topics so stay tuned!

Wanting to get our home back together from the holidays, I took a few days off from blogging to take down all of the Christmas decorations down and get things organized around here. Oh, what fun! Having done a lot of reflecting over the last several days, it has been so enjoyable to look back through the blog and see the changes since October. Wow…this has been a learning experience?!! Looking forward to 2018 being another year of growth. Today, I am sharing the top, most popular posts of my short stint in the blogging world in 2017.
It is fascinating to watch what readers and followers respond to with regard to my posts. I am so grateful for the feedback and look forward to more to be sure that I am sharing topics, ideas, and inspirations that are helpful and useful to you.
Top Posts #1 – Christmas Home Tour 2017 – Winter Glam Dining Room
This post was part of my Christmas Home Tour…a first for me for sure! If it is important to you to make your guests feel comfortable and appreciated, a great place to start is by creating a beautiful, thoughtful table setting. Click here to see the whole post.
Even though a bit of this table setting was a bit fancy, I shared ways to set the table without breaking the bank. The post also includes a lot of great finds to shop the look. Check it out!
Top Posts #2 – Rustic Winter Christmas Centerpiece
I had so much fun putting this centerpiece together. This year, the Christmas decorations in my home featured a winter, rustic theme…with a few touches of glamour, of course! Click here to see!
This centerpiece (made for my island) was also included in my Christmas Home Tour 2017 – Kitchen post! Lots of ideas there also!
Top Posts #3 – Using Apothecary Jars in Christmas Decorating
If you are a frequent reader, you know that I am crazy about Christmas and the entire holiday season. It is such a festive time of the year and a great time to gather with family and friends over special meals or activities. I adore using apothecary jars when decorating for Christmas!!
Apothecary jars are also among my favorite accessories to use for decorating in multiple areas. They are so useful as well! I use them in my kitchen to hold my condiments, in my bathroom to store soap, cotton balls, etc. and for other holiday decorations throughout the year. Top Posts #4 – Decorating a Tray for Christmas 6 Ways!
Being totally in my element, this was by far the most fun post to put together. I just kept going and going…making simple changes to create new vignettes.

Top Posts #5 – Styling your Coffee Tables
Looking back, this was one of my first posts so it takes me down memory lane to see it again. I especially enjoyed sharing this post because I was able to feature the gorgeous peonies that came straight from my garden. They are my favorite flower and I count the days to their blooming season every spring!
Top Post #6 – Fall/Thanksgiving Table Setting
As summer comes to an end, we love hosting dinner parties in the fall and bringing things indoors for a change. Velvet pumpkins became very popular this year and loved working with them for this table setting.
