First of all…Happy New Year! What a year this has been this first full year of my blogging journey. Being able to share my Top Ten Posts of 2018 has only been possible because of you loyal readers and I am so appreciative! I have a lot in store for this year ahead and look forward to sharing it all with you!
This shot is in one of my Friday Favorite posts, but it was the top post on Instagram this year, so I thought I would share it first. It was amazing to me that such a simple arrangement would be so well liked.

My Top Ten Posts of 2018
So, let’s get this going. Some of these posts follow along with the calendar, especially as our readership started to really grow. This may take a while, so maybe grab a glass of wine and put your feet up!
No. 10 – Easter Home Tour
This post was chocked full of multiple vignettes and table settings for spring and Easter. I also shared ways to coordinate multiple areas and tables for your Easter celebrations.

No. 9 – Green and White Easter Table Setting
This table setting was so fun to do! In the post, I shared many money-saving tips for creating this look. This post has particularly been a big hit on Pinterest. You can see many other great Easter decorating ideas on my page HERE.

No. 8 – Easy, Dramatic and Inexpensive Centerpiece with Limes and Hydrangeas
I created this centerpiece for a Mother’s Day Luncheon I hosted for my sweet mother. The whole centerpiece only cost $56 to make so you should stop by and see how I did it. I also shared other combinations that would work well for different occasions.

No. 7 – Carolyne Roehm and Her Impeccable Style
Carolyne Roehm has been an idol of mine for decades. Her style and grace are unmatched and we all are so lucky she has shared her life with us. There are so many inspirations from her in this post and I would love for you to take the time to get to know her and glean from her immense talent! Here are a few favorite shots from the post…
No. 6 – Creative Ideas for Fall or Thanksgiving Table Settings and Home Decor
For this post, I compiled a huge round-up of ideas to help readers be inspired for decorating for Fall and Thanksgiving. It includes creative ways to decorate multiple areas in your home. Click HERE to see all of the beautiful inspirations from some of my favorite bloggers.

No. 5 – Fall Home Tour with Warm Neutral Tones
I love when the weather starts to transition to fall. The changing of the leaves, the smell in the air, and the gorgeous neutral colors that abound are so great to work with. Decorating for fall is one my favorite things to do, especially bringing the outdoors in for this time of year.

No. 4 – Jewel-Toned Thanksgiving Table Setting
Thanksgiving is such a special time of year. I was actually born on Thanksgiving Day (hence, my given name of “Holliday”), so we are usually celebrating both events at the same time. Considering that jewel-tones have been so popular this year, I decided to create this Thanksgiving Table Setting with a jewel-toned palette. I am thankful for all of the lovely comments about the colors that were featured.

No. 3 – Silver and Gold Glam Christmas Centerpiece
It was so exciting to see this post go viral on Pinterest! I had no idea it would be so well received especially considering how easy it was to put together. I would love for you to stop by the post and see all of the details!

No. 2 – My Simple Thanksgiving Tree with Pumpkins
I was absolutely overwhelmed with the reaction to my Thanksgiving Tree and was surprised it was among my top two posts! It was my second top post on Instagram and also went viral on Pinterest. It was simply inspired from some leftover fall decor I had used the year before and because it would give me a jump-start on my Christmas decor. I will definitely be doing another one next year because it was so fun to do!

No. 1 – My Christmas Home Tour
It is not shocking that Christmas Home Tours are well received, especially at this time of year. This season was so busy, that I only shared our main floor this year. We have our “family tree” in the basement but we decided to keep that one to ourselves this year. I would love for you stop by our Christmas Home Tour and see all of the fun things we had going on here at Home with Holliday. Here are a few snippets from the post…

I am so grateful that you stopped by to see my Top Ten Posts of 2018! Fortunately, this year has been one of learning and growth as I try harder every day to improve the skills I need to bring you these posts. It has also been amazing to meet so many of you on our social media spots! Thank you so much for following along!
This year, I have lots of big home interior projects planned and more parties I am preparing for. Our son graduates from high school in May, so a big party for that is certainly in the works. I would love to hear about any topics, holidays, projects or parties you would like to see me cover this year. Welcome to 2019!!

I finally put up a blog that needs a lot of work ….baby steps w/ s i p (social interactions and parties). i hope to improve the look over time. that you for the inspiration found in your blog.
Awww. You just made my day! I have only been doing this for a little over a year and it is quite the journey. Google has so many great articles out there to help you learn and grow. I am constantly researching to figure things out. You got this girl!
Hi Holiday,
I am absolutely in love with your chandeliers. I’ve read your post on how and why you chose them. Wondering if you would be able to share where you purchased them?
Hi Beth! I bought them through Restoration Hardware Kids (that it is why they are hard to find). They still carry it and it is called the Coco Crystal Large Pendant. 🙂 I hope that helps. I also did a post on my favorite Crystal Drum Chandeliers that might give you a few other ideas that are similar.
