As fall approaches, I usually start my decor a little early once the kiddos go back to school. It feels like a fresh start to the “new normal” once we get settled back into our regular schedules.
For our fall decor this year, I started in our Butler’s Pantry which is an area that is utilized daily in our home. Today, I am sharing simple Fall Vignette featuring nuts and snacks that I just put together.

Fall Vignette featuring Nuts and Snacks
This week, I will be wrapping up the rest of our fall decor, but I wanted to pop on today to share this fall vignette that is so easy to create.
This space is constantly accessed by my family and guests. We not only serve drinks in this area, but I always keep snacks out here for daily grazing. It is also on the way to our theater in our basement. Quite regularly, we grab the bowls and take them downstairs with us for movie snacks as well.

First of all, I am most excited to share my big “hack” for this vignette!! I needed a very large tray to pull this off but it is fairly hard to find trays this big, much less cost-effectively. So…guess what this one is??!!
It is actually a boot tray! A copper tray like this could be several hundred dollars, but there are similar ones to mine (Smith & Hawken) for as little as $24.99 (some sourced below).

To provide a foundation for the vignette, I started with the potted faux snake plant (a similar one here). Next, I added in the birch votive holders for some nice ambiance.

To finish off the decor component of the tray, I added in a few sugar cone pinecones and a mixture of pumpkins (from Hobby Lobby). Easily, this color palette can be changed by featuring your own favorite fall colors.

For the snacks, the sky is the limit here! There are so many wonderful nuts and snacks that fit in well with fall decor. The neutral warm colors of nuts are perfect to feature. Plus, they can be left out for a while without losing their freshness.

Here is a selection of my favorites…a lot of which can be found at Costco and/or Trader Joe’s. These are all items I keep stocked in my pantry. They are all a big hit with my family and for guests that stop by. Most certainly, mixing sweet and savory snacks is the way to go!
