Fall is definitely creeping in around here in Colorado. The leaves are starting to change up in the mountains and they are dropping off the trees here. Today, I am excited to share our new Rustic Harvest Gold Fall Tablescape that I will easily transition for Halloween next (more on that later!).

Rustic Harvest Gold Fall Tablescape
For our fall table setting, I decided to use black and white as a foundation so I could make just a few changes to it and have it ready for Halloween very quickly.

Instead of placemats, I used these great black linen table runners (I bought them on clearance at Pier One, but I have sourced a similar one below) for a little added drama. I love how they drape off the table.

For a lovely contrast to the black and white, I chose to feature harvest gold. Because this table will be set until I change it up for Halloween, I decided to use this beautiful faux garland instead of flowers.

Place Settings for our Rustic Harvest Gold Fall Tablescape
Using my woodgrain chargers was a perfect fit for this rustic table setting. Our simple white plates provide a simple backdrop for the harvest gold plates.

The black and white napkins tied everything together so nicely. I bought them for our son’s 18th Birthday Party Dinner and planned to use them again this fall. When you invest in a new set of napkins, always think about how you can use them in the future!

Our gold flatware helped add such warmth to the table. This particular set is so transitional and can be used for both casual or more formal table settings.

As I was pulling all of this together, it was important to use decorative pumpkins since it is so early in the season. The white pumpkins are so neutral and easy to work with. For Halloween, I will just add in some real orange pumpkins and that is all I plan to do.

And, how cute are these little white porcelain pumpkins to top off each place setting??!!

When I set our dining room table, I always make sure that the decor on our buffet coordinates with the table setting. I was able to buy an arrangement that coordinated with the harvest gold faux garland and it did the trick.

Fun feature...these antique salt and pepper vessels belonged to my great-grandmother! I cherish them so much and the memories I had with her!

You can see here how it all works together…
