It is crazy to think that Christmas is only two weeks away. This Mrs. Claus has been a Christmas decorating maniac for the last couple of weeks. It is really “beginning to look a lot like Christmas” around here! Today, I am thrilled to share our new Elegant Green and Gold Christmas Tablescape for this season.

Elegant Green and Gold Christmas Tablescape

As I was planning this tablescape, I chose the color palette based on the decorations I created in our dining room. Since I do not have a mantel in our main living room, I treated our buffet in our dining room as if it was a mantel. You can see how I put this Green and Gold Christmas Centerpiece HERE.

Considering the fact that the buffet has a lot of Christmas decorations featured on it, I wanted to keep the table setting elegant, yet simple. We are hosting two seated dinners for Christmas this season, so I needed to keep that in mind when coordinating all of our tables.

Because of all the gold on the buffet, featuring my gold Lenox Tuxedo China was an easy decision. It is so classic and timeless! Finding the Green Organza Napkins was a big win. I bought 2 sets of twelve for only $22.99 each. I am using them on the rest of the tables I am setting to tie them all together.

To keep the place settings simple, I decided to use a monochromatic palette which is why I used our gold stemware and gold flatware. I really wanted the flowers to be the focal point. Notice that I used napkins as the placemats (you probably have seen me do that quite a bit). 🙂

The Flowers for our Elegant Green and Gold Christmas Tablescape
You haven’t seen our other tables yet (stay tuned!), but I am using a lot of fresh winter greenery in the centerpieces. Based on that, I wanted these arrangements to coordinate with the other tables and also feature the pine cones theme I am working with this year.

Based on the hecticness of the season, I employed my favorite florist in town to help me with the centerpieces. Kari and BJ at Bouquets are brilliant and they always deliver my vision perfectly. If you live in the Denver area, they should, most assuredly, be your go-to for your floral needs. Their creativity and use of textures are stunning!

We focused on the colors and selecting species that will last until Christmas. I will have to change out a few of the roses, but the rest of the arrangements should stay fresh until we wrap up our events. The whites and creams were featured to coordinate with my wall colors and wallpaper.
