Living here in Colorado, pines cones are so prevalent and are perfect to feature for the holidays. This year, I have featured them throughout all of my Chrismas decor. Today, I am sharing two of our Pine Cone Themed Christmas Table Settings for the season. I am also sharing several lovely tablescape inspirations from some fellow bloggers using pine cones at the bottom of this post.

Our Pine Cone Themed Christmas Table Settings
I love using pine cones because they are organic, sustainable and I can reuse them from year to year. Actually, so many of the pine cones I am using came from my own yard. Earlier this week, I shared our Green and Gold Christmas Table Setting in our main dining room. Today, I am sharing our other two eating areas set up for the two seated dinners Christmas functions we are hosting this year.

We have two casual areas off of our kitchen. This first one just got a little revamp because I moved this buffet into it from the living room so I could put a Christmas Tree in our main living room for the first time. The table in this breakfast area was given to my great grandmother in 1900 for her wedding gift. It has stayed in my family ever since then and I am so blessed to have it now. When the buffet isn’t in here, this table seats up to 8 people.

For the place settings, I am reusing our Lenox Alpine Collection Accent Plates I bought last year. To add a new texture, I acquired these new Lenox Chelsea Muse White Scalloped dinner plates and I am IN LOVE!

In our other breakfast area, I carried the same theme and style for this table. The only thing I changed here was eliminating the plaid napkins because of the size of the table. I have had a lot of readers ask me how I would set smaller tables and this is a great example.

These green organza napkins tie together so perfectly with the natural cedar I am using for the centerpieces for both tables.

I also used the same napkins on our Elegant Green and Gold Christmas Table Setting in our main dining room…tying all three tables together so nicely.

These two tables are typically where all of our young people sit for our Christmas Eve dinner party.

This is the Winter White Snowflake Christmas Table Setting that I created for our larger breakfast area last year. Pine cones and fresh cedar are such a lovely combination!

You can see here how I first used our Lenox Alpine Collection Salad Plates. They are so perfect for any winter or holiday table!

I am in love with the simple elegance of this neutral Christmas table setting by my sweet friend, Karen of Sanctuary Home Decor. Creating the centerpiece to cascade over the table adds such a touch of holiday beauty.

This next centerpiece by my good friend, Holly of Home with Holly J (can you believe how similar our blog names are?!), is a lovely example of how to incorporate pine cones into a centerpiece with other wintery touches.

My friend, Lory of Dining Delight, created this lovely Pine Cones and Birch Tablescape that is full of pine cone whimsy for Christmas!

Finally, I am ending this post with another table setting I created last year for a special event I held at our home. Pine cones were the star of the show again! My favorite and most simple element of this table setting was filling my cloche with the smaller pine cones.

I hope you not only enjoyed seeing the details of our own Pine Cone Themed Christmas Table Settings but also the other inspirations I am sharing today. Have you used pine cones in your holiday decor?? I hope you all are having a merry time getting ready for Christmas!

So pretty! Love it all and that round metal table top.

Thanks you, Laura! It is actually zinc and we really love it! Merry Christmas!
Pine cones are a favorite of mine. You have shown their true beauty. Those silk napkins are, indeed, at home with the cones. Lovely.
Thank you so much! I love those two textures together and I like how the napkins dress it up a little bit! Have a very Merry Christmas!
I love all your tablescapes. But, where do you put your ‘food’?
Thank you so much, Trudy! For larger functions, I serve the food buffet-style on our 16-foot island. I have tons of room in there. For smaller, more intimate dinner parties, I serve the courses directly from my kitchen. When it is not during the holidays, my buffets are clear for serving as well. Make sense?? Have a very Merry Christmas!
