Home with Holliday’s Top 10 Posts of 2019!
This is my favorite post of the year because I get to see what our readers are enjoying the most. To compile this list, I researched my google analytics, social media insights and Pinterest (follow me HERE). Turns out, for the last two years, my top two posts have been “My Top 10 Posts” and “My favorite Christmas Trees” of each year so I am not counting those. 🙂 This is precisely why I will be doing them every year! No. 10 – Pine Cone Themed Christmas Home Tour
For each Christmas season, I like to choose a theme that will carry throughout all of the areas I am decorating. This year, pine cones took center stage. Here are a few shots and the links for each post within the tour…

No. 9 – Autumn Thanksgiving Tree with Pumpkins
Having designed my first Thanksgiving Tree in 2018, I was excited about how well it was received. It was one of my top ten posts last year, so I decided to do another one this year and it made the list again. Most certainly, this was one of my favorite projects this past year. Plus, I already had one tree set up when it came time to decorate for Christmas. Bonus! Come see all of the details!

No. 8 – Warm and Cozy Fall Coffee Table Styling
In this post, I shared a few simple ways to transition your coffee table decor for fall. Warm and cozy is the key!

No. 7 – Succulents and Pumpkins Thanksgiving Table Setting
According to my favorite floral designers, oranges and greys were THE colors of the season for fall and Thanksgiving. Hence, our idea to combine succulents and pumpkins for this delightful centerpiece. I was so happy to see that this tablescape was one of your favorites because it certainly was one of mine!

No. 6 – Wine Tasting Dinner Party for New Year’s Eve or Valentine’s Day
Early last year, we hosted a Wine Tasting Dinner to celebrate the New Year with close friends and it seems to have been hit. Since we were tasting red and white wines, I coordinated the table decor with that theme. A similar table setting would also be perfect for Valentine’s Day!

No. 5 – Backyard Party Ideas: An Anthropologie-Inspired Dinner Party
Of all my posts this year, this one was by far the most fun to put together! I went on a retreat with two of my blogging besties to Scottsdale to learn from and encourage each other. In the meantime, we couldn’t resist wrapping up our time together without a dinner party. It was a blissful afternoon putting this table setting together in Lory’s gorgeous backyard.

No. 4 – Green and Gold Elegant Christmas Cone Centerpiece
Having gone viral on Pinterest, the centerpiece that I created for this buffet last year was my number one post of 2018. This year, I created a similar vignette but took it up a notch. Since I don’t have a mantel in my living room that sits across from our dining room, I decided to decorate the buffet as if it was a mantel. Voila!

No. 3 – Easy Homemade House Seasoning Gifts
Earlier this year, I shared my Homemade House Seasoning and it has been another big hit! It is the foundation of most of my recipes (I will be sharing a lot more this year!). Next, I shared how I made these cute House Seasoning gifts that are perfect to give any time of the year.

No. 2 – Green and Gold Easter Table Setting
We enjoy entertaining for Easter every year and this year was no exception. For this table setting, I decided to combine elegant gold and green tones with a few festive Easter touches.

No. 1 – My Favorite DIY Homemade Hostess Gift Ideas
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised that this was the top post of 2019! If you are a guest of a host or hostess, you should most certainly never arrive empty-handed. This post includes several creative and thoughtful DIY hostess gifts for lots of inspiration. A homemade gift is always welcomed!
