It is so hard to know if we will even be able to host guests at our table this year as we are still supposed to be in isolation on Easter. Insert sad face! Easter is such a special time of year as we celebrate our risen King. Even with the unknown, I couldn’t resist putting together this Blush Pink and Green Easter Tablescape. I admit that it does brighten my day as I walk past it. It makes things feel a little more normal around here.
If you coming here from Jennifer Maune of Living Life Beautifully, WELCOME! I am so honored to be in this Easter Blog Hop with her and two of my other blogging besties. Be sure to scroll through to the bottom to see the beauty and creativity they are sharing! I will be sending you to the next post in our hop at the end of this one, so stay tuned!

Due to our unusual circumstances and have to stay in, I enjoyed the challenge of creating this tablescape without leaving our home. My go-to florist is closed…I am trying to avoid going to the store (as you may be as well)…and, I have plenty here to work with. It is also a goal of mine to show you that you can create a table setting for an occasion such as this without any flowers.

Creating this Easter Table Setting
Albeit at home, things are still a bit hectic around here since we are undergoing a huge upstairs remodel and helping with the kids. With that being said, I wanted to make things easy for myself so I decided to just transition my Blush Pink and Blue Spring Tablescape to an Easter tablescape by reusing some of the basic elements of the table. Aren’t we all looking for ways to simplify things?! Here are a few shots of the table I transitioned to create our Easter Tablescape…

I kept the blush placemats, blush pink chargers (which have been a huge hit with my readers!) and my new Gourmet Settings FOKS Lotus dinner plates. I just removed everything else and, voila, I had a starting point!

I also used the same placemats and chargers on my recent Blush Pink and White Valentine’s Tablescape that you can see HERE. A perfect example of how to reuse, recycle, and repurpose!

A few months ago, we acquired a new piece of art for the dining room that features a lot of green tones, so I decided to play off of that. I have this gorgeous preserved moss planter which is so perfect to use for Easter! Plus, most of the Easter decor I am using around our house is green.

The Place Settings
As I mentioned earlier, I already had a start for this tablescape. All I needed to do was to choose new accent plates, napkins, glassware, and flatware. Easy, peasy!! A few years ago, I purchased these adorable bunny plates for a previous Easter Tablesetting (they are discontinued, but I shopped similar ones for you below). The colors were perfect! You could really use any accent plate that works with the color palette you decide to feature.

Just this past Christmas, I found these gorgeous green organza napkins and gold napkin rings and used them on our Elegant Green and Gold Christmas Tablescape along with the gold flatware. You can see here how you only need to make a few minor changes to create a totally different look!

Mixing modern and vintage glassware is such a great way to add extra interest to your table. Very rarely will you ever see me NOT mixing up my glassware!

The Centerpiece
It is so hard to not be obsessed with blush pink, especially as this time of year. With that in mind, the predominant color in the place settings is pink so I decided to contrast it with green through the centerpiece.

One of my favorite things to do with regard to decorating our home is to use certain pieces we already own in a creative new way. My preserved moss tray was so perfect to use here and it adds a natural touch to the table which is always a great way to go.

All I needed to do to add some touches of Easter! The straw bunnies and Easter eggs did the trick!

Finishing touch!
For an organic touch, I love using real eggs as a festive element for an Easter table setting. A few years ago, I created a Green and White Easter Table Setting where I used dozens of white real eggs as the main feature of the table. It was quite a hit and was so inexpensive to do!!

My favorite part of this post is showing how each and every element of this tablescape was has been used many times on other table settings, yet I was able to create a unique look for Easter…in spite of the fact that we might not be able to entertain any others outside of our home! This will certainly be a first for us.
However, I am still planning on making it special for my family in spite of the isolation. I would love to hear what your plans are for this Easter in these uncertain times.
We are planning a neighborhood-wide “Easter Egg Hunt” by putting pictures of eggs and bunnies in our windows for the kiddos to go “hunt”. One of the best outcomes of our separate isolations is how our community is coming together to help each other out even more and to help create safe, creative activities for the little tikes in our hood.

Thank you so much for stopping by our Easter Blog Hop. I am so excited to send you over to my good friend, Holly Jolley of Home with Holly J! She is sharing her gorgeous Lavender Easter Table Setting that is so GORGEOUS! Isn’t it so crazy how close our personal and blog names are?! That is precisely how met and it is has been such a joy getting to know her and traveling with her. You can see my other friend’s posts below. There is so much inspiration! Stay safe and healthy out there my friends!

Pin it for Later…

Love your Easter tablescape. Where did you buy the green easter eggs? Definitely brings a smile in these grim times.
Hi Sydney! I bought them at either Hobby Lobby or Pier1 a couple of years ago so that is why I did not link them in the post. I am so sorry. I did link a few cute moss covered eggs at the bottom of the post. I am so happy it made you smile! Mission accomplished!! Stay healthy out there!
Thanks for getting back to me. I did see the moss eggs but really liked the eggs you had gotten a few years ago.
Take care and all the best.
You bet! I will be working on a DIY way to make them, so stay tuned for that. XO
Thank you so much for an elegant, beautiful setting!
In this world of insanity.,you brought a big smile to my face!
Awww. Thank you so much, Denise. I really appreciate you saying that because I struggle with continuing to post these types of things in these crazy times. I have been concerned about how it would be received when there is so much crisis going on around us. You made my day. XO
I love this color combination and the fact that you have created such a beautiful setting without any flowers! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Zoe! New circumstances require new solutions! 🙂
Absolutely beautiful.
You are so sweet, Denise! Have a lovely Easter!
