You know, it was super hard to get in the Easter decorating mode since we are still getting snow here (just a few days ago, in fact…I am sooooo over it!) However, now that we have to stay in our homes for several more weeks, I felt that taking the dive into it would help wish spring into action here. Today, I am sharing some Simple Green and White Easter Decorating Ideas that would are easy to incorporate into different areas of your home.

Based on the fact that we have had to stay home, I needed to use decor that I already have instead of heading out to shop. So, one of the things I would like to show is how I repurposed what I already have. That is one of my favorite things to do…repurpose!! How about you?! Throughout this post, I am going to show I used each of these elements in previous years (please excuse some of the photography as I was just learning when I got started with this blog!!).

Easter Decorating Ideas
CHOOSE A FOUNDATION…For this area on my buffet in our breakfast area, I chose this moss runner. I love how it resembles the look of grass.

Here is how I have used two different moss runners for a few of my Easter table settings in the past few years…

You can also use a tray of any kind to provide a great foundation for your Easter decor. I layered one into this vignette to add a base to the cloche and a few of the bunnies.

LAYER TEXTURES AND DECORATIVE ELEMENTS – Start from the bottom up and with larger elements. For this vignette, I started by placing the moss runner first and then added the tray and cloche next (off-centered). Next, I placed the orchid behind those pieces to anchor the left side.

Moving onto the other side, I provided balance with the white faux floral arrangement (that I pulled out of a bathroom!) and built out from there.

Fortunately, I have a large collection of white bunnies and placing them came next along with the green votive candle holders.

NESTLE AND NESTLE. Nestle in any variety of colors and sizes of eggs to finish off the look.

The final touch that I “nestled” in was the faux Baby’s Tears hanging plants that I pulled from my front porch pots. I just love the texture that they add!

COORDINATE THE REST OF YOUR DECOR WITH THE SAME COLOR PALETTE. Whether you use a similar color palette or your own choice of colors, just keep it going from room to room. This is what I put together for our breakfast room table. Simple, yet coordinated.

Here is how I continued the theme into our dining room. Just little simple touches…

For our dining room buffet, I just added a few similar elements from the breakfast room buffet. The two elements that I carried forward over here were the Faux Baby’s Tears Hanging Greenery and the faux peonies arrangement.

Since I had to re-purpose my Easter decor from previous years, I thought I would show you how a lot of the pieces I used this year were featured in prior years. You can link to each post below the images.
