Are you looking for a simple homemade Vinaigrette Salad Dressing?! I am so excited to share this simple, yet vibrant Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe today. It is absolutely a go-to for my family and guests alike. You will be so surprised at how truly easy it is!

This vinaigrette is genius for dressing arugula. The lemon compliments the peppery flavor of Arugula so perfectly.
Any lemon vinaigrette will include these basic ingredients: lemon, olive oil, salt, and pepper. For my recipe, I include dijon mustard and my house seasoning for added flavor. The dijon mustard acts as an emulsifier to bring the dressing together.

One of the things that simplify this recipe is using my House Seasoning. It combines three ingredients into one, eliminating three other steps.
My seasoning includes salt, pepper, garlic in the perfect proportions. I make it in large batches and keep it on my stove and season almost everything with it.

My Simple Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe
Want to impress your guests?! One of the best ways to show that you put in a little extra effort is to make your own salad dressing. Simple is key here.

Ingredients:
- Olive Oil – only good quality olive oil will do!
- Lemon – fresh is best!
- Dijon Mustard – this will emulsify the dressing (to bring the lemon and oil together).
- Holiday’s House Seasoning – you can see the recipe HERE.

As I mentioned above, I recommend using a high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This blog post on The Best Olive Oils of 2020 has been a great source for me. Also, check this one out…The 18 Best Olive Oils, Reviewed by Chefs!

There are so many variations of this dressing just by adding a new ingredient or two. Those would include lemon zest, fresh herbs, anchovies, a little bit of flavored vinegar, fresh garlic or shallots, a dollop of honey, to name a few. It also is a great option for a marinade!
