Cooler temperatures are finally moving in here, which is totally getting me more in the mood for fall and decorating for fall. Today, I am sharing a new casual and rustic fall tablescape with pumpkins that I created in our breakfast room.

My breakfast room table is a very special piece in my family. My great-grandfather gave it to my great-grandmother as a wedding present in 1900. I feel so blessed to have it in our home now. So many special memories around this table!!
I am about to replace it with a new, more modern, marble table so this is the last time I will be setting it for a while. 🙁

Details of our Rustic Fall Tablescape with Pumpkins
The rustic nature of the table really lends itself to casual table settings. I love letting the true beauty of it shine through which is why I didn’t use placemats or a table cloth.

The inspiration of this table started with my favorite brown velvet pumpkins. To help feature them more prominently, I decided to use a large wood serving board as a foundation to build the centerpiece.

The Centerpiece
For this rustic fall tablescape, I started with layering in the pumpkins leaving room for a flower arrangement. Based on how I placed the pumpkins randomly, I followed the same concept with the flower arrangement by offsetting it.

The goal with the flowers was to add warmth that coordinated with the pumpkins while still having a rustic feel.

I also included a few white pumpkins to work with the white container and the dinner plates.

The Placesettings
Being born and raised in Texas, I just love adding touches of Texas on my tables. This was the perfect opportunity to feature my pewter deer napkin rings (I have had them for over 20 years!).

Since the centerpiece is the star of the show, I kept the place settings very simple. This is precisely why I chose to use my rattan chargers for just added texture.

The neutral nature of my new Lenox Kate Spade Tribeca Accent Plates was perfect to top of the place settings. I love the pleated look of the plates!
Finally, these Harper Jacquard Napkins from Pottery Barn are my new favorite neutral napkin! I can use these all year long!

As I always say, mix up that glassware! The smoke wine glasses work so well with the grey tones of the salad plates.

Plus, the handblown marbled Modus Wine Glasses by Denby USA add such a great flair to the table and tie in with the white pumpkins!
