We are upon the season of all things Pumpkin Spice! Today, I am sharing my Homemade Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cream Recipe that is perfect to top off any fall or Christmas dessert or drink!

I always make whipped cream from scratch. It is so much more fresh and delicious, plus, no chemicals. I have been known to just eat it with a spoon by itself. How about you?!
Making whipped cream from scratch is super easy, especially if you have good equipment. It does all the work for you. One of my most favorite kitchen appliances is my KitchenAid Proline 7-qt Mixer. Any good mixer will do, but I can just turn this one high and walk away from it while it does its magic. So easy!

This is the “non-pro” version that is about half the price.
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cream Recipe
This week, I have been working on a new recipe for a Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Martini (that I will be sharing with you soon!) to serve for Thanksgiving or Christmas. In the process, I thought it would be perfect to top it off with a homemade pumpkin spice whipped cream.

So, all I did was to tweak my regular whipped cream with some pumpkin spice to compliment the pumpkin spice flavor of the martini.

The recipe is too easy not to try! Simply whip together 1 cup of Heavy Whipping Cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/8 teaspoon of pumpkin spice until it forms soft peaks.

The time might differ depending on what type of mixer you are using. This is what you are looking for…

A lot of whipped cream recipes call for using powdered sugar. I choose to use regular (organic) granulated sugar so I can use less sugar. The heavy mixing will break down the sugar and will help minimize the calories.

Simply store the whipped cream in an airtight container in your refrigerator. It would be so yummy to top off your coffee or hot chocolate or even a fall-themed cocktail…pumpkin pie…apple-themed desserts…you name it!
