T’is the season for all things Pumpkin Spice! Mix it with chocolate and well…magic! Today, I am so happy to share my new Creamy Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Martini that is so perfect for the upcoming holiday season and even for Halloween.
This is probably one of the easiest cocktails to make as Mozart did most of the work here flavoring their chocolate liqueur with pumpkin spice. Niche Import Company sent me this (adorable and festive!) bottle to create a new cocktail.
This post is sponsored but the recipe and my commentary are all my own.
Unfortunately, entertaining has become a bit of a challenge these days…a new normal for now, I suppose. However, whether you are hosting a few family members or friends or attempting to have larger functions, this is a perfect cocktail for the fall and for the upcoming holidays.
Creamy Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Martini Recipe
If you are hosting any guests for Halloween or for a fall gathering, this Creamy Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Martini will have your guests swooning!
There is something about a martini that feels fancy and festive to me. Maybe it has something to do with how you hold the glass…I don’t know. My Polka-Dot Martini Glasses are among my favorites and perfect for this fall-themed, creamy cocktail.
The foundation for this martini is the Mozart Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Liqueur and it absolutely divine on its own served over ice. The combination of chocolate, pumpkin spices, and caramel flavor will boldly satisfy any sweet tooth!
However, I decided to make it even dreamier. It is actually a perfect dessert drink as well! Like…serve it FOR dessert, not just with dessert! For this recipe, it makes enough for two but you can easily multiply it for larger groups.
To create this festive Creamy Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Martini, simply combine the Mozart Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Liqueur, vodka, and dash of heavy cream (for extra creaminess) over ice in a martini shaker and shake vigorously.
Next, top off the martini with a few swirls of my Homemade Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cream and a pinch of shaved chocolate. I used milk chocolate because of the milder flavor but you could use any type you want.
To add the whipped cream to the martini, spoon a good amount of the topping into a small snack-size zip lock bag. Next, clip off a tiny hole on a corner of the bag to pipe it onto the cocktail. NOTE: Be sure to practice on a glass of water until you can swirl it the way you want!
Side note: My Homemade Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cream is super easy to make and is totally divine! A real crowd pleaser…
For the shaved chocolate, I just used a small grater to create the shavings.
