This Christmas season is now one for the books. As we are in the process of wrapping up this Christmas season, now is a great time to plan ahead for next year! Not only am I sharing my favorite Christmas Trees of 2020 today, but I am also going to give you some suggestions to help you be more prepared for next year!
I started this tradition a few years ago. Because they have been so well received, I decided to keep the tradition going! New for this year…a BIG WINNER (stay tuned to the end of the post to the BIG WINNER).
My Favorite Christmas Trees of 2020!
~ Mixed Metallics ~
Let’s start with the fun part…seeing all of these amazing trees! So many of these trees are from some of my favorite bloggers, which always makes putting this together so fun! I am dividing the trees into color schemes.
I am starting with one of Jennifer’s trees of Decor Gold Designs. She was one of the first bloggers I started following and she never disappoints! She always does such a great job of coordinating her trees with the decor of her beautiful spaces! To see the whole post of her Christmas Dining Room and the details of her beautiful tree, click HERE.

Any Christmas Tree favorites list should absolutely include the gorgeous designs by Randi Garrett. She was also one of the first bloggers I followed and she always delivers such stunning inspirations for her readers. This year she added little touches of blue to her tree. You can see all of the glory of her Christmas decorations in her Christmas Home Tour HERE.

Shauna of The House of Silver Lining is another master of Christmas Trees. She has an amazing new home nearby in Colorado Springs, Colorado that you must see! I absolutely adore how this tree in her dining room is exploding with ball ornaments!! So festive for Christmas!

Another favorite of mine is the tree in her family room…a minimalized version of her dining room tree.

My friend, Janet, of Shabbyfufu, always delivers in the Christmas decorating department…among many, many other departments!! You must check out her Elevated Elegance Christmas Home Tour and you will see here why her tree made my list!

Another good friend, Karen, of Sanctuary Home Decor, made my list again this year and you will see why! We found each other on Instagram and she is definitely one to follow. Not only is she so talented and generous to share her two homes with us, but she has such a kind heart! The way she uses the metallic tones here is so warm and cozy. Plus, I love how she grouped a few other smaller trees with it.

Here is a close-up of it and it’s glory!

If you prefer a more minimalist, modern look, then you will love this beautiful tree featuring sage green and metallic tones. My friend, Tana of Your Marketing Bff, really nailed this one!

My Favorite Christmas Trees of 2020!
~ Flocked Trees ~
My daughter has been begging for years to have a flocked tree! So, last year, I got on the flocked tree train and I am loving it! Here is my flocked tree for this year and it one of my favorites. Isn’t it OK for one of my trees to among my favorites?! Right?!

You can see the full post of my Green and Gold Flocked Christmas Tree HERE.

I am also loving my friend, Jennifer’s, flocked tree. The little touches of red are Christmas perfection! I am thinking that you might be seeing some touches of red on our trees this coming year…per my daughter’s request.

This elegant gold and white flocked Christmas tree looks like a sparkling gem! So simple, yet so glittery and festive.

My Favorite Christmas Trees of 2020!
~ Traditional Colors ~
I absolutely love seeing Christmas trees decorated with the traditional colors of Christmas. I would consider that to be reds, greens, and blues. There are so many beautiful trees this season featuring combinations of these color.
If you like RED, this one will dazzle you, for sure! If you are not following Micheal of Inspired by Charm, you are just missing out. Whether it is a recipe, a party idea, home or holiday decor, everything he touches is gold! His Red and White Christmas Tree is so magazine-worthy!

One of my blogging besties, Holly, of Home with Holly J (isn’t it funny that we have the same name…I am also Holly J!) also put together a gorgeous tree with a similar color palette and it is another favorite!

I am completely obsessed not only with the moodiness of this room but also with this divinely decorated Christmas Tree in Green and Blue Plaid!

Finally, moving onto Kelley Nan! Two of her trees made my favorites list, so she is my BIG WINNER! She has created so many magical trees throughout the years! For this tree in her living room, she featured green, blue, and gold and it is just stunning!

Here is a close-up!

This is the tree she did in their master bedroom. I am absolutely loving the color palette she used here! Do you see why she is my BIG WINNER?!

Preparing now for next year’s trees
There are so many things you can do now to prepare for next year. The first thing to do is find inspiration (hence this post!). Remember that “copy” is the best form of flattery!
Plan to use a lot of the elements you featured this year, but figure out ways to change them up a bit for next year. Maybe weed out some of the decorations that you have had for a while and add a few new elements. That is precisely what I did with

My Mixed Metallic Woodland Christmas Tree
Consider changing up one color on your tree. For example, if your tree was red and green this year, consider keeping one of those colors and then add in a new one or lose one. Last year, our living room tree was all white and green, and this year I used the same color palette but just added in gold. I also purchased new gold sprays for this year’s tree because I wanted a little added contrast with the magnolia leaves.

My Flocked Green and White Christmas Tree
Try to decide on a theme early so you can be acquiring elements that fit your theme throughout the year. This will also help spread out the spend, so to speak. Bonus!
Box up your ornaments by color so you can easily mix up your trees for next year. I use clear bins so I can easily pull the colors I want to use. Here are a few great options…
Shop your after season sales to pick up bargains in ornaments, gift wrapping and even to maybe pick up a new tree. I will be shopping for a new tree for our dining room and maybe another flocked tree this year. Here are a few that are on my wishlist…
Speaking of bargains, so many of my favorite Christmas Tree decorations and other Christmas decor are on sale and you can shop them here.
Thank you for stopping by to see my favorite Christmas Trees of 2020! I hope they are giving you inspiration for your tree or trees for next year. I would love to hear which one is your favorite in the comments below
Happy New Year!

I was excited to see your round up and it didn’t disappoint! So much yummy goodness in one spot… and such a wonderful surprise to see I made your list! THANK YOU. xo
