Happy New Year, my friends! It was a crazy holiday season this year, but one full of special times with lots of cheer and reflection on the past year. Today, I am sharing my Home with Holliday’s Top 12 posts of 2020!
Since I have so many new subscribers, there are probably a few posts that you may have not seen.

Home with Holliday’s Top 12 Posts of 2020!
This is my favorite post of the year because I get to see what our readers are enjoying the most. To compile this list, I researched my google analytics, social media insights, and Pinterest (follow me HERE). Turns out, for the last two years, my top two posts have been “My Top 10 Posts” and “My favorite Christmas Trees” of each year. This is precisely why I will be doing them every year! To see them, click on the links below…
Now…onto the countdown…
When I am changing up my seasonal decor throughout our home, I typically start with our coffee tables in our main living room. I love transitioning our home to fall as it feels like we are getting closer to the “holiday season”. Warm and cozy was the goal here…
No. 11 – Sparkling Rose Aperol Spritzer
This was my take on a traditional Aperol Spritzer. Not only is it delicious, but it is so bright and fresh for the warmer months of the year.
For this centerpiece, most of the elements came from my yard. I had NO IDEA it would be so well received! It was super simple to make and all of the details are in the post.
Once I created the centerpiece, I decided to set our table around it for fall and Thanksgiving…
This was one of my personal favorites for this year and Pinterest loved this table setting especially! Most of the comments acknowledged the adorable napkin bows that I made.
No. 8 – Dining Room Sideboard Hack
This was a super fun post to do and it really seems to enlightened my readers for ideas to gain more storage. The solution was quite surprising!
No. 7 – Ways to Repurpose a Closet
We have been working on a large remodel of the top floor in our 1972 home. To open up our upstairs hallway, we removed a closet and used it to feature a special family piece of furniture. The post also includes several other ideas for ways to repurpose a closet.
This is the third year that I have put together a “Thanksgiving Tree” and never dreamed they would be so well received. Not only did I share my tree from this year, but other ideas for creating your own. The bonus of doing a Thanksgiving-themed Christmas Tree is that you already have a head start on your Christmas decorating!
This fall tablescape was a huge hit and was probably the most fun to create!
My cocktails have been quite popular this year. Go figure…this year has been one for the books and we all might have enjoyed a few more libations than normal this year! Who is with me?!
Cheers to a better year!
Now…onto the TOP THREE!
Surprisingly, the vignettes I have created during the holidays with Christmas Cone Trees have been my most viral images on Pinterest…in the millions! This is precisely why I wrote a whole post this year, not only with my own creations but with many other ideas from other talented bloggers. It is a must-see post!
As we started the process of redoing our own Master Bedroom this year (more on that coming later this year!), I spent a lot of time on Pinterest and Houzz looking for inspiration. That was the precipitous for this aggregate post that really took off. There are so many sophisticated, transitional bedroom ideas! You must stop by!!
For the last three years, this has been my TOP POST…My Favorite Christmas Trees of the previous year. There is always so much inspiration in these posts. I always start planning my trees right after Christmas. Compiling this post really sets things up for the coming year.
