Is there anything tastier than the combination of chocolate and strawberries…especially for Valentine’s Day?! Today, I am sharing my new Creamy Chocolate and Strawberry Martini that would make a great starter or even dessert for your Valentine’s Day dinner.
Niche Import Company sent me their Mozart White Chocolate Cream Strawberry Liqueur and their Chocolate Cream Liqueur to create a Valentine’s Day Cocktail. They were perfect liqueurs to work with! Some folks can order it online at Saucey. Mozart Liqueurs are also available at Total Wine & More, Drizly, and Wine Chateau (in addition to Saucy).

This post is sponsored but the recipe and my commentary are my own.
Since it will just be my husband and me for our Valentine’s dinner, I created this recipe to make two servings. It can easily be multiplied for a larger group. I plan to make this again for a girl’s night I will be hosting soon. My girlfriends will LOVE this!!

I have already set our Valentine’s Day Table for two in front of our fireplace. You can see the whole post HERE. We are really not dessert people but will be enjoying this cocktail as our “after-dinner drink”. The hubby really enjoys chocolate!

How to make this Creamy Chocolate and Strawberry Martini

I am home in Dallas this week to catch up with friends and family that I haven’t seen in over a year because of the pandemic. With that being said, my mom was eagerly standing by to be my fellow taste tester as I put this recipe together to share with you.

SIDE NOTE: These gorgeous fresh Camellia’s are from my parent’s property and I couldn’t resist using them to dress up the tray!

I must say that these two products did most of the work because they are so tasty and well made! Actually, either one of these liqueurs are so delicious on their own just served over ice. It is like dessert in a glass! Both of these would be DELICIOUS simply poured over a scoop of ice cream. YUM!

Combining them, though, will blow your mind…I mean, blow your tastebuds! What will blow your mind is how easy this recipe is. My first pass only required one simple addition. After mixing equal amounts of the liqueurs and vodka, I simply added a touch of cranberry juice to add a bit of fruity tartness that set it apart.

Needless to say, this martini tasted very “chocolatey”, so I decided to top it off with thinly sliced strawberries for the fresh bite. Initially, I smashed a few fresh strawberries and added them to the shaker, but was not fond of the texture it created. Slicing them and placing them on the cocktail was the way to go. Be sure to slice them very thinly.

And, why wouldn’t I top it all of with chocolate truffle shavings?! With the slice of the strawberry and the chocolate, it tastes like a chocolate-dipped strawberry on top. Oh, happy day!
