Hello, my friends! I am excited to pop on and show you a new Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape just in time for July 4th. This alfresco tablescape would also be so festive for any Memorial Day or other Patriotic occasion you might be celebrating.

We are usually away for the 4th, but our weather lately is making that hard since the mountains are still getting quite a bit of rain and even snow. Believe it or not, we STILL haven’t turned on our sprinkler system yet because we have had so much rain.
Denby Pottery has come out with a new line of porcelain “Stars” dinnerware that I am super excited about! It was perfect for this Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape I have put together for this year. My idea was to create an all Blue and White Tablescape with pops or red to bring it all together.

Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape Place Settings
Starting off with a basic white tablecloth as the foundation for this table was a no-brainer. You typically don’t see me using tablecloths very often but using them for alfresco table settings really makes things feel special when dining outdoors…don’t you think?!

Since this is an outdoor setting, I chose to use chargers with a “natural” feel to set the tone for the alfresco dining experience. I think they provided such a lovely backdrop for the Porcelain Arc White Stars Dinner Plates.

As you may know already, layering is my jam when it comes to setting a beautiful table. It creates interest and flair. I like to try to stay away from using all one color when it comes to layering a place setting.
The rich blue tones of the salad plates are so divine! These Porcelain Arc Blue Stars Medium Plates are made in Derbyshire, England and feature a blue transparent glaze allowing the clean blue body to push through revealing a stunning ‘arc’ texture, featuring a gold star running across the center of the plate. Perfect for any patriotic celebration (not to mention Christmas!).

For the napkins, I used my go-to Classic Belgian Flax Linen Hemstitch Napkins in Navy to compliment my new dinnerware. I only used them simply under the dinner plates so that the table doesn’t come across too “kitschy”…just clean and elegant.

Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape Glassware
For the glassware, it made sense to use some of my other favorite glassware from Denby Pottery. I have been collecting so many of their lines throughout the years, and I had a couple that were perfect for this Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape!
Their handblown Imperial Blue Red Wine Glasses were a perfect starter to accent the place settings. The color in the Denby wine glasses is created by rolling clear glass in colored chips and melting them so that they fuse. The result makes the color permanent and irremovable (and dishwasher safe…bonus!).

My other favorite Denby glasses are our Modus Wine Glasses. For this table setting, I am using them as the white wine glasses for our first course.

For the water glasses, I am featuring the matching Modus White Tumblers to pull everything together. They are so festive for any summer dining experience, as you can see.
Other details of this Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape
For the centerpiece, I kept things simple…blue and white hydrangeas with a few pops of red (Gerber Daisies, to be exact!). Easy peasy. I bought all of the flowers from my local grocery store.

The coordinating serving pieces in the Porcelain “Stars” Collection are very much worth mentioning. I loved mixing the blue and white together for serving our appetizers. You can shop all of the collection below.

I hope you enjoyed seeing all of the details of our new Blue and White Patriotic Tablescape. I really think our country needs to celebrate our patriotism more and be proud of it. I am so proud to be an American and am so grateful for the sacrifices of our service members to allow us the freedoms we have. Cheers to you all and have a very happy July 4th!

An elegant outdoors setting. A tablecloth was perfect for the patriotic theme. The glass ware with the porcelain stars are beautiful together. They will really show their beauty on a lighted patio. I think everything in the tablescape can be used for occasions any time of the year.
Absolutely! Even for Christmas or Hanukah! Thank you so much for your kind words!
