LEARN ABOUT HOME WITH HOLLIDAY
For the last 30 years, interior design, elegant entertaining and DIY projects have been my passion aside from raising my two children! I have owned and operated two interior design companies completing over 100 projects for residential and commercial clients. I have also helped clients prepare their properties for the market for sale through remodeling and providing staging. In the midst of all of this, I also enjoyed being the featured designer for the DIY Channel’s “Ultimate Sportsman’s Lodge” Series…a true adventure!!
In my personal life, I have been passionate about entertaining from a very young age! Whether it is a small intimate, multi-course dinner for 8, a wine tasting party, a rehearsal dinner for 60, I have always fully embraced any and all functions as an artistic outlet and as a way to fully embrace our guests. I pride myself on designing beautiful table settings, creative and cost-effective menus, and pleasing presentations all without breaking the bank! I prefer using my “bank” for shoes and bags!! I will also enjoy sharing ways to broaden your inventory of serving ware, table settings and decorations that will surely delight!
While giving my time to my passions and as a community volunteer, I have also chaired many large non-profit charity functions both in my hometown of Dallas, Texas and many here in Denver, Colorado. As I have managed these large events and budgets, I have developed many cost-saving ideas for decorations, menus and party favors that have benefited me in my own entertaining at home and elsewhere. You would be surprised how many applications overlap!! Hopefully, you have learned a little bit about Home with Holliday!

Hello Holly!
It was a pleasure meeting you at the Hurtado’s Home back on September 22nd (we were chatting on the back patio about Valor and the kids’ cars!) I just subscribed to your Blog — I am passionate about all things interior designed related, so I am excited to follow your posts.
Sincerely,
Dawn Hoyt
How sweet, Dawn! It was lovely to meet you as well! I am so glad you are joining me on the blog!! I have some fun things planned for this holiday season. XO
Hi! I was pinteresting and came across your site. Love your stuff. However! Leaving comment because my name is Holiday. I have never met another before. I go by Holli. Nice to meet you.
Oh my! How fun! I have never met another Holliday as well! My parents spelled mine with 2 L’s. I go by Holly as well, but with a Y. Doesn’t make sense at all! I was actually born on Thanksgiving and Holliday is a family name. It is so nice to meet you and I hope to hear from you again! Where are you from?? XO
I was born on Labor Day which is, of course, the big joke with my family. Everyone asks if I am born on Christmas because of Holli but then they find out Holiday! I live in upstate NY in the Capital Region.
OK. This is so fun! I look forward to telling my parents about this. Have a great week, Holli!
