Hi friends! With Halloween right around the corner, we are officially “in the season”. Things have been super busy between the three of us as we are gearing up for the holidays. We are so excited to share our third post in our new blog hop; Holiday Hosting at Home! Today, we are sharing what has been going on this week including some yummy recipes, Holiday Decor, Tablescapes and Entertaining Ideas.
Halloween is only in a few days. Hard to believe. My kiddos are teenagers and will not be home on Halloween night, so I decided to put together an Elegant Halloween Table Setting with pumpkins for this weekend so we can at least celebrate together prior to their Halloween parties ramping up.
Time to fess up here though. I am not fond of Halloween. Don’t get me wrong…I love the festivities, the trick or treating, the costumes, etc. I just don’t like all the scary stuff. Accordingly, I usually only decorate for Halloween with harvest-themed fall decor rather than with skeletons, witches and such.
I would not blame you if said “WHAT?!”. I know, I know…it is absolutely OK to think I am crazy! It is actually a fun little story to hear about how and why I decided to build this Thanksgiving Tree with pumpkins created from “leftovers” from my Thanksgiving tablescape from last year.
